With the evolution of the study of HRM, it is no more mere an academic discipline rather an important factor of organizational success in the practical field. Today HRM needs to sense, respond and deal with all the issues of the organization at different levels and prove its worth. As per the above mentioned paragraph, what could be the different fronts, both internal and external, HRM has to struggle at?

As per the above mentioned paragraph, what could be the different fronts, both internal and external, HRM has to struggle at?
The conditions of the competitive global business environment resulted to diverse problems that affect the overall stature of an organization. In the recent years, conflict within the organization is among the most common problems that every management personnel are dealing. Any industry – profit- or non-profit-based, is not exempted and has been singled out as prevalent areas where dispute is popular. Since any industry has a potential in contributing sustainable development in every given economy, there is a need to maintain the most favorable working environment that is free from any conflict. Managers and other personnel need guidance to help them reduce the impact associated with disputes in both management and operating functions. This is done through various conflict resolution systems.
Conflict resolution is important because of the fact that conflict is unavoidable. Conflict is inevitable in every organization because the business environment, both external and internal, experience changes constantly.
External fronts
For instance, the rapid development of technology makes other approaches obsolete, as more and more companies accept the change, affecting the standards in business processes. When business processes are affected and an organization is forced to change its ways, the problem with human factors would then take place.
Internal fronts
Staff and employees are not passive individuals, but rather show reactions to such changes. Change affects many working processes that might have a direct or indirect impact on an employee. The impact might affect the way they work or might determine their attitude in adapting with the changes that took place. Furthermore, most likely there will also be problems on the capabilities of the employees to adapt with the change
For example, the implementation of new information systems or any technology requires the knowledge of the employees to operate. If the employees are unfamiliar or lack the trainings needed, the pace of change will slow and implementation would most likely fail.

The HR Managers of today may find it difficult to face the issues in the organization because of the rapidly changing business environment and therefore they should update their knowledge and skills by looking at the organization's need and objectives. There are so many issues at which HRM have to struggled at, Some of them are mentioned here.

Vision of the organization provides the direction to business strategy and helps managers to evaluate management practices and make decisions. So vision management becomes the integral part of Man management in future.

A diverse workforce refers to two or more groups, each of
whose members are identifiable and distinguishable based on
demographic or other characteristics like gender, age *****, education etc. Several barriers in dealing with
diversity include stereotyping, prejudice, ethnocentrism, discrimination, tokenism, and gender-role stereotypes.

Both the workers and managers has to be managed by the same HRM Philosophy and this is a daunting task for the managers.

Even in the adverse circumstances the employees have to be made to live in psychological state of readiness to continually change.
Job Design & Organizational structure:
Instead of depending on foreign concepts we need to focus on understanding the job, technology and the people involved in carrying out the tasks.
Managing the large work force:
Management of large workforce poses the biggest problem as the workers are conscious of their rights.
Psycho-Social environment:
Nowadays employees participation required not only in performing job but also in democratizing and humanizing the institution.
Employee Satisfaction:
Managers should be aware of techniques to motivate their employees so that their higher level needs can be satisfied.
Modern technology:
There will be an unemployment due to modern technology and this could be corrected by assessing manpower needs and finding alternate employment.
Computerized Information System:
This is revolutionary in managerial decision making and is having impact on coordination in the organization.
Legal environment:
To meet the changes in legal environment, adjustments have to be made to the maximum utilization of human resources.
Managing Human Relations:
As the workforce comprises of both educated and uneducated, managing the relations will be of great challenge.

have permanently altered the workplace by changing the way

Stakeholders are those who have interests in the organization. Multiple stakeholders for an organization include
the customers, suppliers, consumers, investors, lenders, etc
Responsiveness
An organization has to be responsive to the challenges and threats that it faces from within the internal or
external environment. It requires quick responsiveness to meet the challenges and opportunities arising out of
these changes.
Rapid Changes
Due to changing internal and external environment, rapid changes in the organization occur. Organization has
to be flexible to adjust to those changes.
In spite of all the problems HR Managers are able to overcome all these problems with the support of management and employees. In the current business world managing employees are becoming complex task and this can be handled effectively only by our great HR Leaders.
